Imus Muchado - SOS
Are you like me? Were you salivating over the return of Don Imus and giddy with anticipation aver all the scumbags he was gonna level? And didja also think that he might even renounce liberals as the spineless, PC anti-Americans that they are? And so did you stay up until four in the morning to hear it all firsthand, and then not turn it off and go to bed immediately after Imus said at the very beginning, "Nothing's changed...?" SOS? Yes and no. Because those words said it all as it turned out. Imus was not only as liberal as ever, he didn't even knock anyone - not one person. And if that weren't bad enough, we had to sit through a rehash of what had already gone on for a week last April - endless apologies to some kids over a tasteless remark and a promise to reform all with contrition so thick you were glad you hadn't had breakfast yet. But if today was an example of the reform, Imus is wrong, something has changed - he's way more dull than before, and his two new cast members, a black sports guy and a woman "comedian" not only contributed to the dullness of diversity - they enhanced it. What a disappointment. Although I already knew it would be if I were being honest with myself. That's because I never expected Imus to roll over as he did last April when, instead of fighting the exaggerated charges he kowtowed and begged and whimpered, and he did it to Al Sharpton of all people as well as to anyone else who would listen. So chalk up another victory to liberals and the PC crowd. They hadn't really won with Imus until today, but now that they have, it's a pretty big win - but at least our collective self-esteem is better off for it.

Sadly, he's on too early for me to listen to him while living on the Pacific coast.
