Slowly But Surely - Because There's No Choice

It was tough watching the Ann Coulter versus Huckabee match. Ann demured at times, Huckabee held back but made his point about her 'untruths'.

There is much wisdom in this: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

Yes, but how does that account for the vast majority who don't?

I'm glad someone else saw the segments. Clearly, Ann had contempt for him, but she demurred because his was an audience of fans. Still, they must have been conflicted because it was conservative on conservative, even if Ann was at a disadvantage. Had she known what he was going to bring up, I feel certain that her "untruths" would have been transformed. But if Ann is as tough as it gets, there is no hope for conservatism. I mean, liberals are morons, but they eat their own for the sake of (misguided) principle.\

"What the world needs now is love, sweet love" are the opening words to a popular ballad of a number of years ago.

And that song was the theme of a popular movie - Bob And Carol, Ted And Alice which may be regarded as a block in the foundation of political correctness, not to mention how I wish I was the Ted in the title...

Fox's homogonized conservatism leaves me empty. But I missed this one with Ann and Huckabee.
I would have missed it to were it not for my wife. It ended with Huckabee inviting Ann to observe him more closely now, and to let him know if he does something she doesn't consider to be conservative enough. That shouldn't take long.
[this is good]
