The Beauty Of Conservatism

Comments

haih...
"Tax and tax, spend and spend, elect and elect, the American people are too damn dumb to know what's good for them." I think that Harry Hopkins and advisor to FDR said it.
[this is good]
As I said, Ted. This electorate was bred for Obama. I mean that in a concrete way, my friend. I'm talkin' made to order here. That's no joke. And that's why he's going all the way, baby. It's sad, but true. Obama inspires lefty nutroots and moderates. McCain doesn't. And it's the inspirational man which will win in this culture, irrespective of if that man has any content to his character. Too bad substance doesn't inspire anymore, but then if that were true, we wouldn't even be born yet.

Shoot me an email sometime and let me know how you're doing. We never talk anymore.

I'll be crossposting this piece over at MTW. Brilliant!
Not everyone is dumb. In spite of the government school system many leave and actually learn to think for themselves. Time will tell at least McCain is not the incumbant.
You're right, Zak. Not everyone is dumb, but at the current pace they soon will be. Probably, the majority doesn't really matter in this context. All that has to happen is for enough pissed off conservatives to stay home on election night...and a few more zealous moonbats with ol bielzebama in their eyes to show up at the polls. I believe that is exactly what will happen. This is a prediction, Zak. So if I'm wrong I'll buy the beer the weekend after the general election. This was something I felt coming when Republicans lost in record numbers back in 2006. And I felt so strongly about it then that I made the same prediction: Bush to be a lame duck for the remainder of his presidency; mainstream media to capitalize on the liberal victory and carry the Dems into the White House. So far, I'm one for two here. I hope I'm wrong about this; but in a way I hope I'm right, because if the GOP loses the White House this year, it will be a wake-up call for the party...I hope. But then, I'm giving them more credit than they deserve. I thought the landslide loss for them in 2006 would get their attention. It didn't. And so here we are two years later still waiting for the party to represent us. I've got news for 'em. I won't wait any longer. If they don't have the balls to step up and be conservative, I'll stay home along with the rest of conservative America while Obama hits the big one. This is one year I wish we had Monty Brewster's "None of the Above" on the ticket. He'd get my vote.

I'm always for Benigh N. Neglect.

Best,

Zak

and America's retreat from victory continues...

right back atcha Zak.

take care:)
