Me (reading, emphasis mine):

The right wing, the Christian right, has done a good job of building these organizations of accountability, much better than the left or progressive forces have. But it's always easier to organize around intolerance, narrow-mindedness, and false nostalgia. And they also have hijacked the higher moral ground with this language of family values and moral responsibility.

Wife:

Me: That's GODDAMBAMA!

Wife: I gotta water the plants.

So what does Michael Richards need to do to rehabilitate himself and his image? As it turns out, nothing.

It seems that the two sympathetic characters who had heckled Richards have now enlisted Gloria Alred's help in an effort to attain some much deserved compensation - thus proving that the label Richards'.pinned on them was, in fact, very insightful.
